OVERVIEW

We are looking for a UI / UX designer with experience in web applications and the B2B SaaS industry. And someone that can be a thought leader, not just take direction. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3-5 years UX design experience

  • Proficient in Figma

  • With professional experience on Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, XD, Photoshop…) and prototyping tools (Principle, Proto.io…)

  • Familiar with design systems and component libraries. With knowledge specifically of user interface elements for the web and best practices.

  • With solid foundation in typography, layout, and color as applied to software design

  • Experienced with transitions, animation, motion design and dynamic interaction

  • With strong problem-solving skills

  • With basic coding knowledge so he/she can work hand-in-hand with developers

  • Have worked with engineers (or acted as engineer) to bring your designs to life – released in app store or on web

  • Cares about the details shown through attention to detail in design specs and working with engineering throughout implementation

  • A Systems thinker. Has professionally designed with all states and contexts in mind

  • Knows how to approach a design problem. Has gathered the necessary info to start, ensure the goal is clear, and ensure its the right goal

  • Has professionally created designs that meet user needs and are feasible to implement

  • Takes ownership. Shows passion for learning and understanding the product he/she is building. Takes pride in building a world-class product.

  • Customer-focused. Knows that to build a world-class product, one needs to gain a deep understanding of your customer – their goals, needs, and context.

  • With a great verbal and written communicator. Knows when to Slack vs set up a meeting or chat on the phone. Pulls in the right people at the right time. Works transparently yet independently

  • Can work effectively as a remote team member. A self-starter yet has the ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously

  • Organized and transparent. Able to prioritize tasks, communicate progress and meet deadlines

  • Data visualization design skills

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing new features and improving our product

  • Determining and optimizing user flows

  • Creating low to high fidelity visual design mockups, prototypes, and supporting design specifications and documentation

  • Collaborating with our team during design review & implementation

  • Working with engineering to ensure your vision is carried out as intended

  • Participating in the creation and maintenance of a design system

  • Acting as a champion for good user experience, sharing best practices and demonstrating curiosity about customer needs and behaviors

  • Developing a product culture of easy to use, intuitive, anticipatory, fast, efficient, powerful, and automated

  • Shaping a product and company into an industry leader
