Who can join?
- Philippines based technical talents who are up for a challenge
- Python coders with 3 years+ industry experience (freelance experience is counted, of course!)
- 3 to 15 years of professional work experience
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
You’ll have more chances if you are equipped with the following skill sets:
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Ability to work using Django Framework
- Experience in Web Development
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and technical skills
- Should have knowledge on SQL databases like PostgreSQL
- Experience in AWS technologies is a plus
Challenge details
CoDev’s Python Coding Challenge will be 105 mins long. Please note that this coding challenge can’t be paused and has to be completed in one sitting.

- Fill in the required personal information. Make sure the information entered is correct.
- Click on the “Start the test” button to access the task
- The task page has a Live Coding Environment where you can code and compile.
- If you encounter any problem during an ongoing coding test, you can write to us at jobs@codev.com.
- Once you are done writing your code, a default test case will be used to check.
- The passing score is 60% to be shortlisted. Participants must complete the coding challenge from August 29 until Thursday, September 29 at 12:00 PM.
Reminders
- Once you click the “Start the test” button, you will not be able to pause or retake the test. Make sure that you will not be interrupted for 100 minutes.
- If you exit your browser by accident, return to the dashboard to get back to the task.
- When the time is up, all answers will be saved and no further modifications can be made.
- Submitted solution is final and no retake or change request would be raised further.
- Participants who score 60-100% will get an automatic entry to the Rewards Draw. The Winners will be drawn at random and will be announced at the closing date of the coding challenge.
- To keep the integrity of the coding challenge we will be detecting potential suspicious behavior on the assessment.

- 5 winners will receive P3,000 cash each and guaranteed pre-placement interview with our technical recruiters
- Winners will be notified through email
FAQ
This is an online challenge.
No. We don’t support mobile platforms for taking up the coding challenge. We only suggest users to participate from a laptop/desktop.
If there is an issue with your computer or internet connection, you will not lose your previously submitted answers but the timer will continue running. You can log in again and resume coding from where you stopped.
It is advised that you ensure computer/internet connection is working properly before you begin the challenge.
No, tests have timed sections. After the time limit is reached, you will not be able to revisit questions in that section after the challenge-completion time window closes.
