This is the CoDev Event Rundown, where we list all of the latest events and activities that have happened here at CoDev. Here’s what went down at CoDev last November through December, 2022:
- November Learning Session: Bolstering Resilience Through Self-Care Practices and Positive Coping Strategies – Last November 17 Coach Lilbeth Reniva-Gorgonio, a Registered Guidance Counselor, mental health advocate, and mental health service provider, shared her knowledge and expertise on Bolstering Resilience Through Self-Care Practices and Positive Coping Strategies. Participants got to take part in self care and analysis activities, and learned many practical ways to care for their holistic well-being.
- Announcing Philippine and Global Expansion – Near the end of November, CoDev CEO Landon Essig formally announced the expansion of CoDev operations to India. The expansion is a positive sign of growth for the company, and will be spearheaded by CoDev’s Director of Strategy and Expansion Taylor Murphy. - CoDev’s outreach program 2022 – Davao and Cebu – ‘Tis the season of giving, and this year CoDev shared its many blessings to the less fortunate in our Davao and Cebu locations. Our Davao team reached out to the Love the Children Foundation, a social group that provides income-generating opportunities to poor families in their community, whilst our Cebu team reached out to the Naga Special Education Center. - Zabava Night: Year End Company Party – Last December 3, all our CoDev offices around the Philippines simultaneously held its year end party: Zabava Night. The Cebu office party was held at Maayo Hotel in Mandaue City, Cebu, and was attended by CoDev’s VP of Business Development Kyle Clark as well as Chief Financial Officer Brent Wilde. Our Makati and Ortigas teams held their party at City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati; our Bacolod team held their party at Park Inn by Radisson in Bacolod; and our Davao team held their party at the Waterfront Insular Hotel in Davao. All the parties were connected via a video call.
- DevFest 2022 – Last November 19 Codev attended DevFest 2022 at USTP (Mindanao University of Science and Technology) in Cagayan de Oro City. Codev had a promotional brand segment. The event was joined by students and professionals, and included dev talks, workshops and code lab sessions.
- 7th Foundation Anniversary of Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao – Last December 5-9, the Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao celebrated its 7th foundation anniversary, and CoDev was there as a Bronze partner. It’s our first time to support them as our official partnered school.
