This is the CoDev Event Rundown, where we list all of the latest events and activities that have happened here at CoDev. Here’s what went down at CoDev last July through August:
- Google I/O Extended Cebu 2022 – CoDev co-presented Google I/O Extended Cebu together with Google Developer Group (GDG) Cebu last July 2 at Elizabeth Hotel. It’s an annual event that brings together developers and experts in Machine Learning, Android, Web, and Cloud technologies for a day full of sessions, workshops and showcases. - July Virtual Dev Meetup: Test-Driven Development in React – On July 14, CoDev held its July Virtual Dev Meetup, which covered Test-Driven Development in React. It was led by Ferdinand Amano, a Frontend Developer with Matrix Group here at CoDev.
- GREATER: Bound for Recovery – Last July 20, CoDev participated in GREATER: Bound for Recovery, the first live event of Great Place to Work® Philippines in partnership with Hilton. It was an exclusive in-person event for Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies to create meaningful connections with fellow people-first leaders. Our Talent Acquisition Manager, AJ Estrada attended the event on behalf of CoDev.
- Google I/O Extended 2022: BCDxBGOxCDO – Following closely after the Google I/O Extended event in Cebu, CoDev also co-presented Google I/O Extended 2022: BCDxBGOxCDO last July 30. It was hosted by GDG Bacolod in partnership with GDG Baguio and GDG Cagayan de Oro, and was held simultaneously in three different locations via virtual event streaming. CoDev Welcomes Its New Employee Development and Engagement Specialist, Nigele Almocera!
In August, CoDev finally filled its new position of Employee Development and Engagement Specialist, and that’s Nigele Almocera! Nigele’s new position was created to strengthen CoDev’s efforts in developing our team, and creating more opportunities for growth and stronger working relationships. He will be working to improve employee orientation, training, development, and engagement; and create meaningful activities for all of our team members. Here’s a message from Nigele:
